Cooking Classes at AZA
Each month Chef Gabriel teaches hands-on, completely from scratch cooking classes sharing many of his tips, tricks and culinary secrets from decades in the industry. Students will create a four-course meal, learn about wine pairings, and bring home priceless memories (not to mention recipes and tons of leftovers!) Reservations are required and space is extremely limited.
COOK WITH YOUR KIDS!
October 19th & November 2nd: Two parT PASTA CLASS
Chef will be teaching an incredibly fun two-part cooking class aimed towards kids and their parents working together in the kitchen to create incredibly easy and delicious food from scratch! These two classes will be focusing on simple pastas.
October 19th: BYO MAC & CHEESE 11am-1pm
Learn how to create this classic and simple pasta from scratch! Sample several different kinds of cheese and create your own custom dish using your favorite veggies and add-ins (Bacon Mac anyone??). Chef will teach the basics to a great cheese sauce and then you get to cook and eat your own pasta!
November 2nd: SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS 11am-1pm
Choose your own meatball adventure! Choose from ground beef, lamb or sausage, adjust seasonings to taste, and even stuff them with cheese! As your meatballs bake in the oven, Chef will teach his signature marinara sauce and then everyone gets to sit down and enjoy their creation!
$100 for both classes for parent and first child, each additional child $25. Class includes lunch, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. Gluten-free pasta available by request.
MONTHLY COOKING CLASS
October 27th: Hors d’oeuvres and party food
This month Chef will be focusing on showing some of his favorite appetizers and hors d’oeuvres for the upcoming holiday (and football!) season! Learn four of his signature dishes including Stuffed Cremini and his infamous Hummus, with wine pairings and a sweet dessert to finish out the meal. As a bonus, this entire class will be prepared gluten-free! $75 per person includes meal and wine, class begins promptly at 5pm.
NOVEMBER 24th: Bread making
In November Chef will be teaching the secrets to three of his incredible dough recipes: ciabatta bread, pretzels and cinnamon rolls! Each class member will enjoy a fabulous pub-style meal including pretzels with beer-cheese sauce, grilled burgers on fresh baked ciabatta bread, and a sweet chocolate mousse dessert with take-home cinnamon rolls ready to bake the next morning. $75 per person includes meal and wine, class begins at 5pm. *NOTE: this class cannot accommodate gluten-sensitivities
